We work closely with the Roma Community in Govanhill, actively listening, building skills, and empowering. Our activities, advice services, and youth groups, led by Roma community workers and volunteers, aim for a brighter, more connected community.
Rom Romeha (for Roma by Roma) is our approach empowering Roma people to end extreme racial inequity by influencing local services and delivering peer-led actions.

Govanhill Roma Youth Project
Govanhill Roma Youth Project (GRYP) is a youth project where young people and youth workers collaborate to organise a range of opportunities for Roma young people to take action on their interests, needs and concerns.

Since 2017 every year GRYP has supported over 100 young people in youth outreach, youth groups, and through street work. The young team have undertaken youth research and youth-led projects such as raising awareness of sexual health. Several cohorts of young people have become young leaders, entering employment as youth workers or entering higher education, learning to support their community.

Housing
Homes for Health is a priority within the Health Justice Fund. It is a collaboration between the People's Health Trust and experts from housing, community, and racial justice charities, delivering projects that respond to the growing problem of unfit private and social rented homes and their effects on tenants’ physical and mental health.
At the centre of the work are marginalised people whose intersecting identities make them more likely to be affected.
